Great barbecue. Hidden gem of a road trip.
Fried ribs were delicious with beans and potatoe salad. The sweet tea was a bit too sweet but the service was friendly and very helpful in a quaint little spot that offers barbecue to fried catfish. You can even shot a game of pool after your meal!
Best BBQ around. Try the fried ribs. Great down-home atmosphere and the nicest people ever.

#Awesomeness
The deviled eggs & potato salad were sweet, but surprisingly good. The potato salad is like smooth, creamy, chilled mashed potatoes with a little sweet relish, but not too sweet. The deviled eggs were real sweet, but not sickeningly so, and just had good flavors of mustard and relish. The ribs & brisket were tender & the mild sauce is tangy & just a little sweet. The chicken just fell off the bone. The greens were not salty enough to my taste, but like everything else, the natural flavors came through well. Even the sweet tea, although in that oversweet Texas style, was not cloying, but clean tasting & refreshing. Hubby liked the brisket, sausage, beans & potato salad. White bread & cornbread nothing special.
