    Doing an overnight in Marshall, Tx. and was looking for good food. Boy did we find it at Elisha's! My 3 cheese cheeseburger was huge and delicious and the onion rings were deliciouser! Thanks for a nice visit and a wonderful meal!

    Lawdy! Greeted with a big smile as we walked in. Chicken fried steak was wonderful. My wife is taking half of hers home. Fried okra cooked perfectly and one of the few places to get good hot water cornbread. These ladies do it right. Oh, and don't forget a big ol' slice of buttermilk pie. Delicious!!!

    Food was delicious! ! Freshly prepared, seasoned n plentiful. I had smothered pork chop, cabbage, yams n hot water cornbread, topped off with a Big Red. Recommended to anyone. Will go ny again when I am in Marshall

    Traveling through from Arkansas and was hungry for soul food. Found this place on Google and Lord knows it was a GEM to find.

    Our food and service was amazing!! Hats off to this restaurant. We wish you MUCH SUCCESS.

    We can't wait until our next annual trip. The food was so good, we MUST TRY MORE MENU ITEMS.

    The food was so good and the sweet tea reminded me of my childhood. The happy Birthday serenade from the owner was like icing on the cake. The Birthday serenade wasn't for me but was for some one else but it was enjoyable anyway. I asked if she could open a place like this in Maryland.
