Jester King Brewery

Jester King is a great day trip not far from downtown Austin. The setting is beautiful, the pizza is great and the beers are amazing. There are plenty of picnic tables under the trees for some shade as well as a large covered pavilion for refuge from the sun. I highly recommend the tour if you have any interest in how a brewery operates.

Unique farmhouse brews. Interesting ingredients that meld well with each brew. Specialized in sours. Great outdoor space for kiddos to run around. Dog friendly. They serve food which is pretty good as well

Frequently visit here and it continually delights. I often hear surprises from visitors about the this but beware, there is no AC here but if it's cold there are heaters. That said it is gorgeous and my entire family loves hanging out. The food options now are quite good. The menu is varied but not deep if you need quantity of options you will want to plan around that but the quality is great. Non-alcoholic drink options are limited. Highly recommend a stop.

The only thing better than the beer Jester King makes are the people who work there. I run a beer bar in New York and was in Austin for a few days but was not available during their hours of operation. I emailed Jester King and they invited me and my friends down to the brewery to get a tour and a tasting, as well as opening their shop up for us to buy beer. Everything about this brewery is amazing, from their gorgeous property to their flawless beer. I hope to be going back to Austin again soon just for Jester King.

This place is amazing! Love the outdoors and farm feel (baby goats!!!). Seems to be great for kids with lots of room to run around, huge sand pit with toys, abd very pet friendly! We did the goat yoga and had the best time. Peppy loves those goats and they are so sweet.. brews aren't too bad either. ????
