Railroad Bar-B-Que

Awesome place people are friendly and welcoming, food didn’t take long at all to get made. The Portions of the food were spot on filling. I’m staying at the flat crossing ranch and this is the closes thing I’ve seen, so decided to stop and it was worth it. Better than bill millers and if they had a spot in San Antonio I would eat there almost everyday.

It's OK. The place is always clean, the service friendly and professional. The food itself is just OK. There seems to be an inconsistency. Sometimes the brisket is dry, sometimes really moist, same with the ribs. I have been eating RR BBQ for the past 18 years since I moved to Kyle TX, and then to Dripping. Would I eat here any day of the week? Sure. Is this my favorite BBQ joint? Nope. They have serious competition down the road, and all around the surrounding counties. Do I have any serious complaints about this place? Nope.

They have kids running the restaurant which is never a good thing. The food was good but not "Slap yo Mama" good.
Some of the brisket was moist and some dry. But my wife and I had a quite meal due to the place being empty.
The kids are always not wearing gloves.
I wasn't blown away by the food was decent.

Consistently good and at times great barbeque
: ribs, brisket, and chicken. Sides are good and recommend green beans and potatoes salad. For relatively light eaters, a two meat plate can easily feed two. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice Texas barbeque joint that's worth repeated visits.
