The Leaning Pear

Positively delicious food! The atmosphere is super cool and laid back.
I ordered the salad trio with their house salad. This was only my second time here but I'm already looking forward to the next time! A must if you're visiting Wimberly!

Our waitress was amazing and the food was as well. Upon arrival we were greeted with an enthusiastic waitress who had an abundant amount of knowledge regarding not only the menu, but the ownership of the restaurant! She was able to educate us not only on the food, but what exactly the Leaning Pear is all about....and I'm sold!

Our table was large (7 people) and we still received prompt service and attention. Everything from the drinks to the main dishes was on 10. I had the BBLT which was crunchy, crisp, and charismatic! This sandwich had personality as the bacon was full of flavor.

Another member of my table ordered the Mac and Cheese with Bacon which was savory in every way. They have a good selection of local beers and also housemade drinks like lemonade and different flavored teas.

This spot definitely gets busy on the weekends so come early! Bonus points for being dog friendly.

First time here and I'm glad I gave it a try. At first I was a little skeptical since there wasn't a lot of meat entrees on the menu. I decided to try the crab cake and the pork chop. Crab cake was delicious great taste, not dry and full of flavor. My daughter is a very picky eater and she absolutely love it. The pork chop was tender, full of flavor and pretty dang big. It didn't have any sides but I didn't really care to much for sides since it was a nice size chop. Besides tasty food they have a variety of beers from craft to draft and everything else. The staff was outstanding and very knowledgeable of the food specials etc. The scenery outside was very pleasant as well. Overall great experience and highly recommend. On to the next one.

Very friendly service. Dog friendly patio seating. Limited food options but good beer. Wonderful view! Seating inside has beautiful view as well and includes "tree house" seating outside. Great for a large group

I've had a consistently excellent dinner and brunch. Had the chicken, grits and granny smith apples for dinner. The chicken was perfectly moist with smooth grits that all balanced well with the apples. For brunch had the delicious crab cakes with slaw. My kids and parents enjoyed their meals as well. Cozy and comfortable atmosphere with beautiful wood surroundings and many windows for an open feel or outdoor seating with the river in the distance beyond a field.
