Almost took my breathe away walking up to it it was so unexpectedly lovely. Food great simple and well made. It’s almost magical inside and out. Could have stayed there all day. Super kid friendly. Crayon bucket and coloring sheet all set out when we arrived. Great kids menu. Mine nearly lost their mind when they saw the extremely generous smear of Nutella on their “cheeseboard” lunch presented on slate board.
A beautiful Bistro in the hill country with a cozy atmosphere. My wife and I split an Ahi Tuna salad with a red bell pepper soup. It was just the right amount of food for us. All in all it was pretty tasty though I was hoping the soup would be thicker than it was with a bit more red bell peppers.
Such an amazing place! The food was delicious and the vegan options are spot on. The staff was very accommodating and made our visit special.
Best restaurant in the Hill Country!! We stumbled on this place 5 years ago when it opened and recently found it again. I wish I took more pics of the food because it’s incredible. Fresh, lots of flavor and well priced. On the weekends they have live guitarist. Lighting and ambiance is excellent which is so important for a date night or dinner with girl friends.
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food was amazing, I really enjoyed the steak Diane, which was cooked exactly how I asked. The apple cobbler was delicious, although it's name is slightly misleading. There isn't a lot of crust, it was mostly pecans so I'd say don't order it unless you really like nuts.
I have to give 4 stars only because service was a bit slower than expected. There was only two other parties in the entire restaurant when we arrived and we still spend about 90 minutes there. If it was more crowded, I don't know how long service would've been. It's not somewhere you stop in a hurry but it is a good place to stop in Wimberly for a more elevated dining experience. There was live guitar which was great for the atmosphere.
