Applebee's Grill + Bar

Food is good but restaurant needs a cleaning. The big round booth had huge holes in the seating and trash all in the crevices. The pay and play devices on the tables were sticky and gross.

The table top tablet there for you to play games and pay out was absolutely filthy! You could see fingerprints and smudges as if had never been wiped off. The salt and pepper shakers were also grimey feeling and the table was sticky. Close attention to detail is expected but here, any attention would have been wonderful!
The loved the double crunch shrimp and had a baked potato substituted for the fries. The loaded baked potato was loaded with butter but barely any cheese or bacon. The brisket tacos were good but the brisket was sweet. That's just my taste though. Lastly, out waiter, Bill, had no personality at all. I felt bad for being a reason he had to work tonight. He wasn't angry acting, just no friendly attitude at all. It will take a lot to get me to return anytime soon.

Excellent customer service, and great food. I got the endless chicken tenders and must say I was quite satisfied. The tenders came out nicely warm, and the honey mustard was excellent. My wife even commented that this is on her restaurant to return to list. She normally doesn’t like to go out because it seems like everything we order from almost everywhere we can make at home better and less expensively.

Excellent place to eat in Athens. My favorite place! True Statement. Our waitress Tonya was amazing. The food and atmosphere is perfect, for all occasions. Love love love
