Best chicken fried steak and chicken! Sides were delicious as were the fried green tomatoes! We drove 2 hours just to try this place and they did not disappoint!

Lovely decor inside. Nice selection on menu. Prices were very reasonable. Ordered the hamburger steak. Loved it! Will definitely be going back. Staff was a pleasure.

Do what I do and order cobbler first! The peach cobbler goes fast, and with good reason. Other menu items are simple, but fresh. I found both the corn and green beans (usually my favorite sides) had an unusual flavor (recipe choice?). The french fries are very good. It is not uncommon to find a requested menu item has either run out, or isn't yet ready. I hope this family owned diner will find its stride, and these small glitches will resolve. So, go! Have some cobbler. Enjoy your order, but prepare to be flexible.

And -- for the love of hamburger holiness -- please make the Patty Melt on rye bread, not Texas toast.

Great burgers. Specials are awsome usually. The squash casserole is phenomenal! Mushroom Swiss burger is excellent. The fried bologna sandwich is definitely worth a try. Excellent service and great atmosphere.
