People was very welcoming and friendly service was great food was outstanding
The food was great and our waiter was excellent! But the place was outdated and felt old. The table and booth we were in was in serious need of repair (they were worn out and very uncomfortable to sit on and the table rocked badly). But aside from those things it was a good experience.
My mom has been going here ever since she was little and even when she was pregnant with me ! So I have been going here pretty much all my life !!! The food is and will always be amazing. Especially the chips and salsa. I just cannot get enough of it:D
As a rule I would give the review 5 stars however I was pretty surprised to learn that they have changed. Apparently, when ordering tortilla soup it no longer comes with the small amount of rice and sliced avocado. It had to be purchased separately and if I had to guess I would say that they just threw some water in a bowl with a few slices of bell pepper and onion along with a sliver of chicken with the tortilla chips in it. This was pretty disappointing coming from this restaurant. Ochoa's as a rule of thumb has always been really good food. The soup was the only issue we had and the rest of the food was really great. The Enchilada dinners, fajitas, taco a cabin, and the rest of the food that our employees ordered was amazing. It was fresh and hot. Over all everything including the service is amazing minus the infraction of the change in the tortilla soup. We have been eating here on occasions for about 10 years.
The cheese enchiladas are really good, and good 8 rating. The chilis sauce was good. The puff taco, I had them add beans and it was very tasty. The spices in the ground beef was just the right mix and not too spicy. The best thing of the meal was the skinny margaritas, the lime juice is just the right tartness. If you are in Canton for First Monday and don't want a smoked turkey leg or fried corn dog, Ochoa's is the spot for good old fashion Tex Mex.
