Taqueria La Herradura Edinburg

First impression, the place looked and smelled really clean. The food was really good! A little bit greasy but not enough to bother me. We ordered tacos and a potato. It wasn't busy at 6pm.

I love their tacos they are filled with meat, but I don't enjoy the tacos when the dip them in oil. Whenever you order tacos say without oil that way the tortitas come out soft and not greasy and cold.

Delicious taqueria! I got the sincronizada mixta to go, they ask how you would like your tripas cooked, I got it not too crispy, it was good, had alot of cheese, and they give you a little container with lettuce, tomato, and aguacate in the bag which is great so the sincronizada won't get soggy. Worth the wait, and they take you your order to your car.

What can I say it was very, very basic Taco joint with maybe about 6 items on the menu if that.
Think 1 step up from a taco truck.
No pop on tap.No Jarritos either.
Choices were either lemonade couple other tea / juices or canned or bottled pop.
Food was ok, nothing to write home about.
The highlight for me was the pico which very fresh and really packed a punch.

Food came on paper plates and plastic cups and cutlery.
The pluses the price was good and it was just down the road from the truckstop and it was bordered by a service road so I was able to pull over and park in the grass off to the side of the road with my rig.
