Try the tacos callejeros they are only 9 and really good. The parrillada is really good here too. Good services and clean bathrooms.

If you never been to McAllen Texas...and you haven't visited this great eatery..you must put it in your bucket list...
Every single time i have been to anybof their locations..IT NEVER dissapoints...always fresh made to order great great authentic food and alcoholic conjectures..and the staff fast and friendly as you can ask for...prices are very very fair in comparison to what u would expect to pay at Papasitos chain in San Antonio Texas...but this place having waaaaay better food authentic wise....
Been here at least 15 times...i rotate my restaurant eatery scenery...

    See u here one day..

You gotta love a restaurant with colorful murals! It is fun to read all the "dichos y refranes" while you wait for your food. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy.

We started with 'Queso Fundido con Chorizo' (melted white cheese) as an appetizer. It really was delicious and the highlight of our lunch. The flour tortillas were good.

The 'Parrillada Milagrosa' dish (for 2 people) was a treat. It is a combination of beef and chicken fajitas with grilled cactus, sausage, onions, cheese, and avocado served with quesadillas, rice, and charro beans. I loved the charro beans!

Unfortunately, they don't have a good cocktail menu. I tried the Margarita with a Corona beer on it. In order for the beer to not tip over, you need to order it as a frozen Margarita (which I'm not a fan of to begin with). I chose the lemon-flavored Margarita from the relatively large selection of flavors. It was tasteless. I don't recommend it.
