La Doble M Restaurant & Bar

What I best liked and made it a great experience was the customer service and attention from our waiter. He listened to our questions and made appropriate recommendations. Every recommendation was on point and very good!
The food was delicious, well prepared, very tasty and with great presentation. My whole party had a great experience AND meal!
Side note! Kuddos on the ambiance and music. It was loud enough to enjoy the music (not to mention the beautiful screens with the music videos) but not too loud you could still carry a conversation. The DJ played very hip and today's top 40 making dinner even more fun!

Hello folks, last night we tried La Doble M restaurant & bar for the first time and of course the place is incredible, the attention of the waiters is very attentive, the food is really very good and the drinks are delicious, the place is adequate, clean, on top of that your dishes are ready quickly, theres a cosmopolitan atmosphere, super cool music, and overall it was really a good experience. Let's move on to the things that I think need improvement, and a good start would be by assigning servers to tables with many people, since it causes the same servers to leave their other assigned tables and this generates waiting to eat your food hence it getting cold. Another thing is understanding since that this place opened its doors it has been a huge hit here in RGV, therefore you may need to be patient to get your table, your silverware etc. The prices are high but you are paying for a great quality meal but even then I think they could be a little more generous with their portions. Give yourself the luxury of visiting this place, I’m sure y’all will really like it, "bon appetit mis amigos"…

Food and service were great. Hostess greeted us before we were even in the door and the waitstaff is incredibly friendly. Everything we ordered was well prepared and tasty. The drinks were well made. Only drawback (not significant) is the staff primarily speaks Spanish and the menu is in Spanish so come prepared if you are not fluent in Spanish.

Place is really nice, the service was very friendly, the music is set perfectly, so you can actually have a conversation with your guests. The food was good and they also have vegan options. The banana pie and the chocolate dessert were my favorite. You have to make a reservation otherwise you have to wait to be seated an hour plus on a Friday night.

Pretty good spot! Expect to see people & to be seen. Wide open concept. It was packed on this Saturday night. Pretty good service for being so busy. All the food I tried was excellent. I’m excited to go back soon! I will definitely be ordering the Aguachiles Verdes again.
