    The chicharróns were good and the meal was filling but I think $18 for this plate is a little steep.

    Finally a Caribbean place around here! I know there are a couple others but this place had mofongo so we had to go! Service was friendly and food was excellent! I thoroughly enjoyed the mofongo, steak, and yuca frita. Everything was seasoned and full flavored. My one and only critique would be no offer of maraquitas with mojo sauce. They do offer chips and salsa, but as a Caribbean place, I’d really like to see maraquitas as a choice. Grew up in Miami and the maraquitas with mojo was always my favorite part of eating at the restaurants there. Everything here is an A+ so far. Will definitely return.

    The most delicious authentic Dominican food in the RGV that even my husband’s grandma (a 100% Dominican 86 years old that’s been cooking all her life said she could die a happy woman after the meal) approved! We hope this place is here to stay!
