Taco Fiesta 956

Stick to the tacos here....burgers and hotdogs are only average.

I went with my wife here... standard taco truck. They have some tables outside but you can also eat in your car, which is what I did. They come to your window and take your order.... customer service here is a winner. The young girl who attended us brought us everything that we needed...

My wife ordered herself an order of tacos (maíz/fajita). The charro beans are tasty...not watery at all and flavorful. The fajita was cooked well and had the right amount of flavor. The beans and tacos are spot on....

....But the hamburger and hotdog tasted average. I had the Hamburger Fiesta ...has ham on it with all the fixings. With so many ingredients...the flavors should pop! Well they don't...the patty was very thin, and felt like it was cooked from frozen, so it was bland as well. The big slice of ham didn't add any flavor...could be lower quality ham (chopped vs smoked ham). The hot dog was bacon wrapped...but the dog itself felt small for the bun and the bacon was also missing flavor. No pepper, no smoke, no maple...bacon should never be bland, but it was.

If you're a taco truck...stick to the basics, tacos. If you're craving tacos, check this place out.

Decent little spot on the side of the road. Easy access and it's fairly quick for takeout . miles better than the rodeo taco spot nearby that has the worst tacos in all of McAllen lol

Yummy tacos de canasta. Hard to find in Mcallen at a late hour and Taco Fiesta 956 has them!

First time at this food truck and everything about it was great. The customer service, the music, the FOOD and everything in between. We will definitely be back, my only regret is not finding it sooner! We had bistek Fiesta tacos and shared a baked potato. There are other items on the menu we need to go back and try. Enjoy ! 😉

I have tried the tacos, fiesta tacos, Sopes, hot dogs, Sincronizada, torta, and the totopos with toppings all these menus items have been delicious. The meat is pretty lean, I always check my food for fatty tissue before I start eating, sometimes I find 1 or 2 pieces. Compared to other places where they add a lot of the fatty meat tissue this place is pretty great with that.
