First time eating here. Not very impressed and definitely not what I expected to get for what I paid. They served the tacos in a small tray as pictured. I felt like I was playing restaurant with my kids. Small portioned beans about 3-4 oz served in a condiment plastic cup which is very unusual. It wasn't the traditional baked potato but more like mashed potatoes with lots of greasy cheese. The tacos did taste great though 👍 . I understand the need to increase prices to run a profitable business but they shouldn't reduce portions in my opinion. Shrinkflation!
First time going here and we will be back! Dined in around 1 so it was pretty slow, staff was friendly, good size portions with the exception of the beans however they are packed with flavor. Usually places offer bigger cups but they’re pretty tasteless (we end up throwing them away). There’s a lot of competition with restaurants that sell tacos but the meat here is some of the best I’ve had. I ordered a burrito pirata with carne asada and it didn’t disappoint. I recommend dining in because their salsas are flavorful and it’s nice to be able to try several along with some chips while you wait. We paid around $30 for two of us but I don’t find that to be expensive.
NOT our regular taqueria! The prices are up there, 9.99 for a combo without a drink, BUT we will be here again and be recommending it to everyone! You pay for the AMAZING flavor. Absolutely everything was delicious the salsas, the chips, the pickled onions, the charro beans, and the papa asada. 🤤 We had tacos asada, tacos de trompo, and the Matamoros. O.M.G. they had so much flavor!
The Tacos here are very good, the portions on the tacos can sometimes be generous.
They have some really good combos, for 8.99 you get 4 tacos, grilled onions, charro beans and baked potato.
The Tacos here are good on general from what I tasted i like the carne asada more, the filling on the tacos can be a hit or miss but overall still good, the charro beans here are by far some of the BEST i have eaten in the area as these are well seasoned and full of ingredients, the grilled onions make the dish taste better and the baked potato is prepared with butter and some other ingredients really delicious.
The selection of salsas is amazing they are very delicious.
Overall I would highly recommend this taco place, don't let the name fool you though, it's called Mazatlan but have no fish/shrimp tacos :)
OMG!! This Bistec tacos were amazing!! Butter in your mouth!! The tortilla and the salsas drove it home! They call it asada i think, but everything there was great!!
The salsa bar was super on point. The pastor was super good, the charro beans and the whole setup. Think about this, 4 larger street tacos, a baby onion, small cup of charro beans and mash of mashed potatoes with all the trimmings? For about $9?
Yeah, I’m going back there again! Would super recommend!! Taco P, there’s a new taco guy in town! Watch out, he’s open till 3am on the weekends…😄
