University Draft House Townlake McAllen

The University Drafthouse was a nice happy hour location that has a great view of the lake. The food was good and they had a great selection of beers. The service was good and venue was surprisingly nice. All in all a great experience.

It was my 1st time here. I really liked the place and the food. They accommodated our large group of 16. Great atmosphere. I loved the old photos of the Pumphouse.

Aaron was a GREAT bartender! I got off of work. I needed a beer and a shot! I said what I was looking for. he suggested a couple of good beers. and he made really good green tea shots!! the other bartender helped as well, good service. but he took a little more time to help.

We went to this place about a week ago because we liked the one in Edinburg. Everything was good, the brunch food was great. Was just disappointed we couldn’t order from the regular menu, because I wanted my husband to try the jalapeño bombers. So with in a week we tried it again, this time during happy hour. We tried several different drinks, margaritas, original and mango, moon tang, chang tang and a berry bruiser. We tried the “Hot for Teacher” hamburger, a spicy one, beware and adult chicken strips. Everything was great, the service too.

Great atmosphere along with great customer service is the reason our company outing was a blast. And as an added bonus the food was awesome. I definitely will be returning.
