So this is a local place that seems fairly popular in the community. I took my wife and son for a lunch one day and it was.... alright.

It has its definite pros.... we'll start there. Most places give out a complimentary small cup of charro beans, they gave us a small cup of fideo w/ vegetables. It was quite nice...and not the usual starter. My son is quite a picky eater (what 3 yr old isn't) and he finished his small cup.

Another pro...the tostadas. My wife had been craving nice, crispy, crunchy tostadas and she told me these were perfect! They didn't turn soggy, had plenty of meat, and they were just what she had imagined.

My plate fell in between...carne guisada with enchiladas verdes. The carne guisada tasted bland...the sauce was thick and felt more like a gravy. The enchiladas verdes were also lacking something...more crema? More citrus? More love in preparing them? They were "alright".

The one BIG con...we ordered my son the kid chicken nuggets. The last thing I expected was an item that I could literally find in my freezer. Dinosaur chicken nuggets...they looked exactly like the ones you buy at the local store and can microwave in 1 min. I should know because we have bought them before...needless to say, don't get your child the kid chicken nuggets.

The ambience was overall bustling...a lot of people coming and going. It did feel a bit old and dated. The tables and chairs were wooden but they show definite wear and tear already. Service was good but the waitress did seem to get lost every now and then.

Crispy tostadas...bland carne guisada..and dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets combined means I'll flip a coin next time I think of going.

The restaurant is okay, i like how the place looks outside and the food was tasty, however the wait for the breakfast was long.

The huevos rancheros were good, for $6.25 you get 2 eggs, potatoes, refried beans and bacon.

The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs was okay not spicy but it had a good taste, the refried beans were plain tasting nothing bad but nothing that great, the potatoes were made fresh to order crispy outside but it needed some seasoning, the bacon was thick cut cooked perfectly.

The corn tortillas weren't to my liking, the flour tortillas were okay.

Overall a good place for breakfast if you don't mind waiting 25min+.

It’s been some time since I been here. Good place for some Mexican food. It’s one of my favorites off of Conway.

We loved the food here. First time trying. The lunch was hot n delicious. But the time waiting for it was long and chips n salsa lacked flavor . Chips not crispy and salsa too watery.
It was a full house but not jammed packed so service could have been better.
Area needs upgrades...looks somewhat old n dingy. It was clean n staff was friendly.
Price was decent. Better not to do doggie bag . Food taste was differnt and no not for me.

El Patio is a cute little restaurant with great food for a great price! We came for breakfast and ordered enough food for five people and it only cost us $47 with a tip! We will definitely be back many more times!
