Delicious! I ordered a brisket plate. I was served four, thick, brisket slices with bark! Very generous portion! The plate was served with my choice of 2 sides.
Delicious bbq!
It’s a small place with a few tables. When we got there most of the menu was sold out which is a good thing in our eyes. The staff & owners are friendly & show that they care about how they cook their food. We ordered a 3 meat plate so we could taste a couple of items. The chicken was soft, tasty & fell off the bone! The brisket was tender & melts in your mouth. The sausage wasn’t over cooked and tasted great. The bbq sauce is also made by them & has a tangy taste to it that compliments the meats. We got a side of potato salad & rice. The potato salad was just the right amount of flavor, not overtly done with mustard. The rice was Mexican style & had good flavor to it. We also got to sample the jalapeño corn salad. I’m glad we tried it because it wasn’t what we expected. The sauce over it was creamy & it was not spicy at all. The jalapeño added an extra crunch and the type of cheese used gave it a unique flavor to that corn that really made this side stand out. Overall we hope to come back and try out other items on the menu that were sold out.
We came across Hope's BBQ a few days before Easter. Although my order was last minute, they called back immediately and helped me determine the appropriate amount of food for my group, and within my budget. The food was delicious! We ordered brisket, pulled pork, ribs, sausage, brisket charro beans, rice and potato salad. I received many compliments on the food and everyone wanted to take home leftovers. We will definitely be returning to Hope's for more!
Everything I've eaten from here is amazing. Best brisket sandwich I've ever had. The ribs fall right off the bone. The leg quarters are juicy as hell. Barbacoa that isn't overly greasy and actually has flavor. A turkey sandwich that has no business being that good. It's turkey for crying out loud! But it was delicious. Great sides, and all of it for reasonable prices that put these BBQ chains around here to shame.
If there's one thing I don't like, it's when the meat I purchase is dry. So far, every time I've come to Hope's Barbecue the meat has been soft, juicy and flavorful. The quality has been very consistent. Highly recommend this place.
