Awesome portions! BBQ sauce was great! Tangy with a hint of spice! Mac & cheese was also quite good! Super cheesy & creamy.
I got the pulled pork sandwich- I couldn’t finish it - it’s a hefty sandwich on a beautiful egg bun! The pickles looked homemade and tasted delish! The pork - well, I just wasn’t my cup of tea today. I really didn’t like the way it tasted… but they were almost sold out of everything and it was 3pm and the sides on the hot table did look a little old but it was close by the church and wanted something other than Tex mex - so there you have it. You decide.
We ate the brisket cheese fries (BIG serving enough for two ppl). It was really tasty and a huge tray. The bbq sauce is what makes it taste so good. In my opinion, the brisket is a little too fatty for my taste. The fries are amazing though, and the cheese to fries ratio is perfect. The sweet iced tea is too bland. I do need to come back and try other dishes. 4 stars for me.
I've waited months to finally get to try this spot due to a demanding work schedule. Boy was it worth the wait! The owner George made us feel welcomed as well as the staff. We also sampled the brisket smash burger and boy was that delicious! We'll definitely be back soon to dine with the rest of my family. Thank you for a great experience.
You will not be disappointed here at GW! You want authentic TEXAS BBQ, this place is a MUST TRY if you live here in the valley.
It’s a locally owned business and boy do they get busy!
Arrived around 2pm on a Sunday, there were quite a few people there, and what surprised me was the fast service and the knowledge GW’s employees knew about their craft of BBQ.
We got a traditional Brisket sandwich (that was literally 2 inches thick from bun to bun 🤩) and a Peace Maker Sandwich. We were able to see them cut the meat for the sandwiches as they prepared each dish beautifully and with care.
As for the sides, MAC&CHEESE was a bomba! 10/10 | Jalapeño Cream Corn was delectable! 10/10 | Garlic Green Beans contained immense flavor! 10/10 | CORNBREAD 10/10 speechless 🤤
Last but certainly not least. . . FREE TEXAS BREWED BEERS ON SATURDAY & SUNDAY!
I’m not kidding! Enjoyed a SHINER and an IPA the Texas way. 💪🇺🇸
First time here today. SUPER FAST IN AND OUT to go ordering.Super awesome customer service. Looks family run which makes it better. Pork ribs are awesome. Half chicken was amazing. The brisket was ON POINT! Bread pudding dessert, mac n cheese, and potatoes out of this world.
