Boocha Boocha For Life / The Boocha Bar and Taproom

It is a real mom and pop operation. It was great to carry on a pleasant conversation with the owners. The food is made from scratch and extremely healthy. Loved the pizza and kombucha. Reasonably priced.

I am grateful to have found the Boocha Bar in Weslaco. My mother in law is vegan and my wife and I also eat mostly vegan as well. We were able to meet the owners who were nice and welcoming! We sampled their brewed in house kombucha (try the grapefruit one!) and even some peanut butter cookies while we waited for our food. I had the chorizo pizza and potato soup and both were excellent. We wanted to go back but ran out of time with all the stuff we had planned. We’ll be returning next time we’re in the Valley!

What a delight to find this restaurant! We are visiting the area and were just looking for a place to get lunch. We got the best lunch and had a great time meeting the owners and hearing their story. They take care of their customers as thoughtfully as they prepare their food. Vegan or not, you’re missing out if you haven’t been to Boocha Boocha. We’re only going to be in the area a couple days more, but we will be back!

Never had vegan before, I was really surprised on how good their food was. Bought a few teas and their fermented drinks are good. Very unique expirience for me an always a good alternative for a healthy meal and not the same old burgers and pizza for lunch. Staff and owner are super friendly and helpful. Will deff go back.

I never knew about Kombucha until this place opened up! My boyfriend & I went to go check it out and were amazed at all the great health benefits of Kombucha and how nice and welcoming the atmosphere is🙌🏼 Now we try to always have some Kombucha around! Take your bottle back and get a discount on your refill, how AWESOME!!They also serve DELICIOUS and Unique All-Organic Vegan Meals from 11-2pm everyday they are open and other GREAT Vegan Goodies👌🏼Always a great experience when we go!
