Monterrey Cafe

Being Chicano I am vouching for this place for the best menudo I've come across at a restaurant. The meat was cooked to perfection! The broth had just the right flavor. For some reason I had to ask for cilantro and oregano but they brought it to me promptly. The corn tortillas were certainly made fresh. Topped a big bowl off with a barbacoa taco. It's always a good sign when there is a line of people waiting to get in and most of them are elderly! I will come to this Cafe every time I am in town now. Loved the small hole in the wall experience. Don't miss this one if you're close bye...

This place is nice and friendly clean and warm. Not to big especially the parking but it's because everyone want to come and eat here I presume. They realy need a second location I think if the have the same service they do good.

Great staff, very accommodating! Enjoyed the classic comida casera (home style) fried chicken, and you can’t go wrong with a panchos/botana for 1!

Food was so good. Service was great. Would eat here again.

1st time here and it was a pleasant surprise... the food was amazing and service was very attentive... will def be back for more
