Villa del Mar

We came for dinner on Friday evening. We were seated promptly, but then waited about 10 minutes before a server approached us. She said they were caught up in the kitchen. We waited another 10 minutes and she came over looked over her shoulder the whole time. She looked very rushed or maybe overwhelmed. 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️

We placed our food order when she got our drinks. My son ordered tacos minus the beans and they were brought with beans, we sent those back and they fixed the order, he had asked for sweet tea and got lemonade, but he still drank it. When he asked for a lemonade refill, he got sweet tea. 🤦🏻‍♀️My daughter ordered a cucumber margarita, but after waiting about 5 minutes, she was told the blender broke down, so they couldn't make that for her.

Besides that, the food was good and our server did seem to be trying to do a good job. I'll probably go again to add more stars. They have a kid's menu, as well. 👍🏼

FYI* The full menu is in Spanish only and our server only spoke Spanish. I'm not sure if this would be an issue for non-spanish speakers. I had to translate for my family, but if I wasn't there, they wouldn't know what most of the items in the menu were.

The food was great. This Plate was for 2 but it could have easily fed 3 people.
It was my first time there and I wasn't disappointed.

First time here at Villa del Mar and although we thought the food was a tad bit pricey for only one piece of fish, we thought food was delicious!!! HOWEVER, our waitress Angela was by far one of our best waitresses!! She was very friendly, gave excellent details on menu options, made us laugh and definitely accommodated when something didn't meet our expectations. She definitely deserved her tip.
