Local Goat Distillery

Never been to a distillery before, brewery several. Great whiskey (due to our laws in Texas, they can only give samples, no sales) but they can sell vodka, rum and gin? The gin is very tasty but unique. Fantastic smoked beef street tacos! Planning for the next tour and taco Tuesday! The tacos are consistent in quality, the jalapeno aioli has a strong pepper flavor (not heat-wise)

We are so excited about this new find! This is a fabulous date night with friends. Everything the Local Goat Distillery does they do with class and attention to detail, from the quality and presentation of food to the elegance of the cocktails and mixed drinks. They produce all of their own liquors and spirits and they present them with pride and tightly so! Every ingredient but one is sourced right here in our great state of Texas. Y'all, this is Texas excellence.

If you a lucky enough to get a spot for the distillery tour (definitely plan ahead and make a reservation) you will be given one of the most knowledgeable presentations and open question and answer sessions around. This is not a routine, canned presentation and the owner loves challenging questions and sharing his passion and his beloved craft. He is an distillery artist through and through. Absolutely unique and oh so drinkable.

I don’t leave many reviews on this site but the Local Goat Distillery was an awesome place to grab a drink and go on a tour. Their beef and pork street tacos were amazing. I found the tour very informative and appreciate the time and care they put into their drinks. The atmosphere itself is very fun and would highly recommend.

First time to visit. The street tacos and the premium tacos were absolutely on point. We had beef, chicken and pork tacos, they were fantastic.
My wife had a whiskey old fashioned that was tasty and strong. Good tunes playing, relaxed atmosphere. We will become regulars for sure.

Local Goat was a great experience! The custom cocktails were delicious! My husband and I took the distillery tour and we were the only ones on the tour. We got to taste all the different types of liquors made on site and the owner was very knowledgeable. We even got to dip our own bottles and put the seal on them! Absolutely would recommend!!!
