Schnitzel and meatballs are the reason to come here, but I'd suggest coming often. We had a very helpful waiter, the Street facing patio is fun in cooler weather, and everything has a nice relaxed vibe. It's also a fun taste of something unique and just off the square. Definitely give this place a try for a change of pace or if you're adventurous

Awesome authentic German food cooked by a German Texas American! Great food, great service, awesome restaurant in a quaint Texas town. Worth the drive from wherever you are from. Highly recommend the meatballs. They are tasty and fresh. The curry sauce was on point. Not one bad item. We got the schnitzel, the meatball, the rouketen (beef roll), red cabbage, kraut and nocchi. Can't say anything bad.

Average food. I'd like to mention, I was born and partially raised in Germany, so I have eaten at plenty of German restaurants. I thought the atmosphere was nice, I like the German radio playing in the background. The menu items were limited and it was dumbed down for Americans, who probably aren't familiar with German food. I thought the bratwurst was authentic, the meatball was more or less a hamburger but was seasoned and was tasty. I think the schnitzel can be better. It was a little greasy, but what bothered me was the texture. I've never had schnitzel breading stick to my teeth with every bite. Usually the breading is light and crisp. I thought the sauerkraut was a little funky. I read others reviews after eating at the restaurant, I don't like the fact that the owner argues with people's reviews. It lacks professionalism and is a turn off and I probably wouldn't have went if I had saw that beforehand. I do have to say it's pretty impressive that there's a German restaurant in the middle of BFE, I wouldn't have expected that in a million years.

Very good food!!! Staff was great, atmosphere was awesome! The square in sulfur springs was small but fantastic with boutiques, several options for food and also great bars!!!!. Definitely going back and recommend to anyone headed that direction!
