We went on a Sunday, which was not the best time to evaluate this Restaurant, there was a very small crowd, 3-4 tables. The service was great and the food was hot, fast, fresh and more than we could eat. We took leftovers home. If you are a Cajun food fan you might want to give them a try. We plan to visit again, on a weekday or Saturday. We need to, ALL, support our local businesses and especially our local restaurants.
Keep up the good work, EVANS.

Excellent service. Swamp eggs were amazing! Alligator and boudin balls were great. Fried shrimp was a huge hit. Homemade chips with the overstuffed po-boy were excellent. The only negative we found was the etouffee was a little off and tasted like it had too much flour. Chicken and Sausage gumbo had excellent flavors and the bread pudding was the perfect ending to a great meal. Can't wait to go back!

I’ve finally found a place to satisfy my Cajun cravings! These are the nicest people I have ever dealt with when it comes to dining, ordering and catering. The food is always delicious & the prices are affordable! I live this place!

I’m not sure why there are bad reviews from this place! As I scroll through and read them, I then go to their profile and they literally talk bad about every place they visit from restaurants to An Energy company to the hospitals.
The crawfish were the absolute best I’ve had in a while. The gumbo was extremely authentic, and the Bread Pudding is outstanding!! The menu is terrific! Everything is amazing at this place from the staff to the decor to cleanliness.
If you have such a horrible experience anywhere, why not bring to the owners attention at that time so they are able to correct any issues you have? Instead you get onto the reviews and suddenly become a keyboard warrior?
Thank you Evans for showing your support to our vets by offering a free lunch monthly, also a big thank you for providing Thanksgiving dinner to our elderly at the assisted living home. No one dies it like you guys!!
Keep up the great work, the food keeps getting better!!

We had dinner there tonight and the food and service were outstanding.

We are from Houston and didn't expect it to live up to the quality of our favorite Houston Cajun restaurants, but it really did. The service and family feel added to the experience.

All of our meals were excellent. The seafood gumbo was full of shrimp and oysters and had great flavor. The blackened shrimp jambalaya, fried catfish and red beans and rice were awesome.

The waiter and manager took time to talk to and thank my 90 year old father for his military service.

It is great to see a new and unique restaurant like this in Crockett / Houston County and hope the community will support and appreciate it!
