WOW! This cafe is the best kept secret in Texas! We visited the cafe for the first time today, and it want be our last. Our breakfast arrived hot and fresh, and had the best flavor. The homemade salsa is a must try. Our server was friendly and cared about how the food arrived, and how we liked everything, honestly one of the best waitress I have ever had. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone, because this is the best in Hunt and surrounded counties. We drove from Wills Point, and we will make the drive again.

Been going to this place for years when it was Willa's and now the lady who waited on us for so long is now the owner. The food was wonderful, large portions and all. The atmosphere was good ole home style too

I decided to try Mama's Family this afternoon. Never had been there before. One in quite clean and nice. Watch her Coca-Cola memorabilia on the walls. The service and servers were extremely friendly. Rachel one of the servers sat and talked with me for a while we talked about Google and golf she was very very nice. I had a ham and cheese omelet hash browns biscuits and gravy. The hash browns were not overdone not under done they were good. The ham and cheese omelette was delicious it came with salsa. The biscuits were white and fluffy not too salty. For the time being they only open at 6 and close at 2 in the afternoon 7 days a week. They're easy to spot as you go east on Highway 276 from Quinlan towards 2 Mile Bridge. What I really like is they actually have a smoking section separate from the rest. Which these days I'm really happy to see. The prices are reasonable they serve mostly breakfast. If business picks up for the summer they'll probably stay open later and do a lunch or dinner type menu I'm looking forward to that all in all well worth the trip.

Absolutely delicious. We’ve been wanting a breakfast place to open up that’s worth it, & this is worth it. Super friendly staff, clean building, phenomenal food. Fresh & homemade is the way to go, & they’re doing it right. If you’re extra hungry, try the mamas skillet. Bacon, ham, sausage, peppers, onions, scrambled eggs, all piled high topped with gravy ($8.75). So much food, we couldn’t eat it all!
