“We visited on Friday. Waitress was great. My catfish was just meh. It was way too thin of a fillet and it looked and tasted like they had let it sit in the expo window for way too long. My sides were dry and the fish and shrimp were rubbery. Husband loved his steak, though. It was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The shrimp part of his surf n turf wasn't good. Their sweet tea is pretty good.”

My son was so surprised and happy that it came with whipped cream too and I also overheard an employee mention how awesome it was seeing the kids come in with their coupons for their excellence in school (grades, attendance and/or behavior). The staff made me feel very welcomed. The dining area needed a little cleaning up, but it wasn't bad at all and I would classify it as good, just needed a lull in orders so someone could take care of it.”

“Soulman's Barbecue was really great Barbecue! The Barbecue was smoked very well and had great flavor. Had the Pulled pork sandwich plate with two sides and a drink. The price was very reasonable and there was alot on my plate. The sandwich was large and plenty of meat. I really enjoyed it and the sides were very flavorful too. The servers were friendly and quick and very helpful. Enjoyed every minute I was there.”

“I am not a huge seafood person however I will eat pretty much anything if it’s fried ha ha! I have gone to other seafood places and enjoyed them very much however at this restaurant that you food was lacking salt and seasoning. My husband got a seafood soup that he had to add hot sauce and salt to to make it tolerable. I ordered the catfish platter and was very disappointed with it, it needed a lot more salt. The staff is very friendly and they seem to really care about their customers. Unfortunately I will not be coming back as I was not a big fan of the food.”
