Sams Southern Eatery

Went there on a Friday I think. The service was friendly and observant. Prices are decent for the quality.

The food was affordable and good. Not a very clean place. I might try it again. Maybe.

Food is still pretty good. Tea was not, got water instead. Hubby said his fried fish was good, but he wasn't as pleased with the fried shrimp. My fried shrimp poboy was good, except for the pickles. Shrimp & pickles do NOT go together.

But......most of the tables were dirty & sticky. We layed down paper towels (like a placemats) before we ate.
The inside needs to be upgraded, painted & cleaned up. Feels gross & dirty.

IF we go back in the future......we will call in our order & get it To-Go.

I order to go food everyday from different places in Beaumont. Unlike most places in Beaumont, the ladies at Sam's don't screw up my order, ever. They are always busy at lunch time, that's when I go, and they haven't sent me with the wrong order yet. I've been to other places that make mistakes when they are slow I don't know how many times. And the food is great.

Great southern style seafood made fresh and great employees that were helpful in getting the right meal for me. I had a grilled chicken salad that was tossed in house dressing and had plenty of grilled onions green peppers and tomatoes pickles and a little corn not too much tho. The laid back atmosphere was a welcome home vibe at the end of a long day so thank you guys and galls!
