Food is amazing and so is the atmosphere. Staff is on point and courteous. Recommend getting a reservation a day ahead of time for weekends if you want to experience the grill.
Bar area is small but open for ordering food and drinks fast if you don't want to wait for a table or while waiting for a table. Either way it's a must try.
Wings for starters are extra crispy and delicious. Tofu stew is very flavorful. Bibimbop looks small for such a big bowl but really good. Oh and I seriously want a bottle of the salad dressing.
The only "fault" from a customer standpoint is the wait which just shows you how good this place is. And I don't think they do same day reservations.
The location is accessible, the ambience is good, table seating isn’t really comfortable with other people/stranger sharing same table. The food were good and flavorful. We ordered the Bibimbap and it has lots of flavor and fresh vegetables. The staff was okay but could have been personable. However I still recommend the place.
I ordered the steak, cook it yourself lunch. We also did a sampler of their rice wines, and their Korean draft beer, called Kite? The beer was excellent, the rice wine went down like flavored water, but it has a kick to it! The steak isn't seasoned, but they give you lots of fixings and different sauces to add to it. This was the first time I ever tried cooking a meal myself, and it turned out delicious! I even used my salad dressing on some ribeye steak! I will come again!
I served two years as a missionary from 1986-1988 in the southwest portion of S. Korea, from Taejon to Yosu. While there I developed a deep and abiding love and respect for the Korean people and their culture. So, when I entered Ko, the aromas instantly brought back incredibly detailed memories. When my food arrived I was so excited but took my time tasting and savoring each bite. Authentic, well prepared and cooked food. The service was extremely polite and informational, upbeat and that was at the bar, where the two bartenders were very busy. My deepest thanks for bringing a little bit of Korea to Beaumont.
