Cool place for tex-mex standards, very affordable and tasty. Family-owned for decades, real friendly owners and staff. Salsa could be a little hotter but they provide plenty of it, so that's ok. Their burritos covered in queso are a nice treat. My wife came here often as a kid because her parents brought her and evidently it hasn't changed much at all except a conversion of the porch to a seating area to provide more room. The owner said they're getting a new, full bar soon. I dont drink but I'm sure their margaritas will be delicious. Go by and check this place out if you're craving some good, affordable tex-mex.

The service was spot on, the food was rather bland except the stuffed jalapeños were awesome.

Great food & service. Eat there at least 2 times a wk if not more. Plus it's only about 3 blocks from hm. Me, mama & close friend love it.

Service a little slow but glad to see they are still kicking out really good food. Let me clear this up, it is not a complaint about the slow service. Only a comment. The kid did seem to be new because he did not know the answer to all of our questions. In time he will gain the speed of service he needs and will be a good waiter. I have been eating here since my nephew was small enough that he would fall asleep in his beans after church and he is in his late 30's. We ALWAYS try to eat here one time when we come in from Austin for events at the Compound.
Hope my Grandchildren will all have a chance to eat here...KUDOS, Keep up the good work.
