Mr. King Taco

Mr. Taco King is quickly becoming a family favorite. We love the carne asada burrito, pollo asada tacos, and fish tacos. Can’t wait to try more.

I lived in Oceanside, California for 4 years while I was in the Marine Corps, before moving back to Texas. I fell in love with California burritos. The only place in this area I've been able to find a good one was Burrito District in Spring, Texas. That ended today. One of the owner's here is from California and he knows how they're supposed to be made. This place opening, saves me a two hour drive. I'll be a returning customer for sure. If I were to critique one thing, use less fries in the burrito. It was like 3/4 fries 1/4 meat. Half and half would be perfect.

So glad this place opened up. Way too many Tex-Mex restaurants around here and Mr. King Taco is definitely the closest to authentic Mexican food when it comes to a restaurant. The al pastor tacos, carne asada fries, carne asada nachos, California burrito and chicken quesadilla were all delicious and 5 stars. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cooks kept the kitchen cleaned up anytime it slowed down. Only bad critique I have is that their salsas could be more spicy. Will definitely be eating here quite often 👌🏼👍🏼

Street tacos with chicken and side of guacamole and chips to go. I didn't get my chips. Tortillas were mushy. Used a spoon to eat. Approximately 15 minutes between pickup and eating. Perhaps that's unavoidable I don't know. Flavor was very good. Thin sauce was my favorite. Guacamole was very good. Just wish i had the chips to go with it. Service was excellent. I liked i could watch my food being prepared through window in dining room to kitchen. I'll go back.

Mr.King is a great new addition to Nederland. Very flavorful street tacos. Many sauce options. I liked the mango salsa best. Dining room is light bright and very clean. Nachos were made on homemade chips! Staff is friendly and helpful. Will definitely return to try out breakfast options.
