This is a nice casual place. I ordered to go for work. The butter beans and cabbage could have definitely some salt. The beef tips were really good and a coworker really liked the chicken fried steak. The apple cobbler is good. The banana pudding is okay. It reminded me of boxed pudding though. Overall I would eat here again.

Just left with Our Son & Grandkids. This was our 1st Visit. My Husband got the Chicken Fried Steak with a couple of sides. It was humongous and the sides were BIG. He said he's never had a better steak in his life. Our Son had Pork chops and sides. It was Excellent but not near as Big as the Chicken Fried Steak. I had the juice only for the chicken and dumplings because I just had Dental Surgery and couldn't have anything else. It was good but it would of been better with the Chicken and Dumplings. The kids shared a fish & shrimp dinner. They liked it. Service was GREAT ! Atmosphere was GREAT ! I would highly recommend this place.

Went to this restaurant for the first time! Had a little wait but not too long m! The guy at the register was super nice after I ordered my food he got it out to me quickly and told me it was on him! What a blessing!!!! Not to mention how good the food was! I will definitely be a returning customer. THANKS AGAIN

This was my second visit to Grandma's Country Cooking. The first time I visited the restaurant I ended up leaving without eating because they were obviously understaffed and our wait to be seated was taking entirely to long. But I tried again a few weeks later and the food was Very Good! Although we were seated fairly quickly this time, it was obvious once again the place was understaffed. There were only two waitresses when at least three were needed. To make matters worse, the cook was the cashier. Several tables had to wait to check out until the cook had time to run from the kitchen located in the back to the register in the front. The only other downer was the fact that our meal was served on styrofoam plates with plastic utensils. On a positive note, the place was super clean and although I've mentioned various negative issues, the food was well worth the wait. I will be visiting Grandma's again.
