Hamilton's Restaurant And Bar

The drinks were excellent. My grilled shrimp was too salty and my hush puppies were hard as a rock. The manager replaced the hush puppies and they were fresh. My last experience was a one, so today was an improvement and my waitress was excellent.

We went today directly after church (Sun Apr 14, 2019 @12:30pm) with a party of 5. Place was crowded, yet we were seated in 10 min. As packed as it was...there was plenty of wait staff.

Appetizers came quick and HOT. Fried green tomatoes, gumbo for appetizers...excellent!

Next the entrees were timed just right. Pontchartrain Catfish, fried fish and shrimp, chick fried steak, grilled shrimp, and gumbo...generous servings and everyone agreed it was great!

Sides were grilled veggies, dirty rice, roasted corn, stuffed potatoes...excellent!

We're pretty picky, but VERY pleased with the service here. She (Arriana T.) was always around, but didn't hover. Tea and ice came without asking. Very nice, pleasant, and efficient!

Overall, we all agreed it was a fantastic dining experience and we'll be back!

Yes in deed this place is pretty darn good. Had the blackened catfish dinner and was cooked very good! This was my first time eating there and will definitely be going again. Sat quick. Drinks quick. Food quick. Smiles all the way through. They have a very homie style atmosphere to me. Everyone had a smile. Good place to eat.

Great fried shrimp, oysters, crab balls, onion rings. The fish good. On scale of 1 to 10 seafood gumbo was 6. I think the roux was burned a bit. Friendly service.

First time there tonight. WOW. wonderful service. Jamie was my waitress. She is the best waitress I have ever had. I met the cook, he was also super nice. Food was great. I will go back for sure. We need more places with great customer service as this one. Thank you Hamilton's!!
