BBQ 港式烧腊 Chinese Restaurant

I’m sitting here reading all of these bad reviews, mentioning that the restaurant still has remnants of the old restaurant. I’m so sick and tired of Southeast Texas reviews, on these local businesses,that have nothing to do with what they do. I as a local business owner, completely sympathize about the cost of opening a business and its initial cost. If you can’t afford to change the wallpaper, you don’t deserve one star. The food here is great. The people are always friendly, they serve duck it is the best Chinese food in this area by far. Leave a review based on what the business does this one serves Chinese food and the Chinese food is delicious. That is all.

Overpriced for what I received. For $19 on a half duck then I expect to get half a duck, not a third. I know this lady looks at me in my work clothes and thinks this guy doesn't know anything about Chinese food, wrong! I grew up around Toronto Chinatown and have eaten Dim Sum throughout North America. I wasn't expecting much in Port Arthur and to their credit the BBQ pork was good, but you ripped me off on the duck. You want good duck you need to go to Humble or Richardson where they spend the time to crisp the skin. I don't like to usually give a negative review since I only tried their food once, but you gave me 70% bones and kept the meat for yourself. Lost yourself a potential long term customer.

Crispy wings - 4/10 bland but edible
Fried rice - 5/10 rice had an artificial liquid smoke flavor to it
General Tso - 5/10 nothing special
Egg roll - 4/10 store left it on the rice so it got soggy and covered with rice
White rice - 7/10 surprisingly sticky as if they used a new crop

I probably wouldn’t go back for these items. Lunch pricing was the best part about the General Tso dish

Went here for lunch, and I wasn't disappointed! When I walked in and saw whole roasted ducks on display, I knew I was in the right spot. I got the #9 and almost ate my fingers...😂 I highly recommend this restaurant !
