The Burger Barn - Hebbronville

Can't complain , pretty cool place to get away from the heat and the staff was friendly , I had to jump off my diet on this one but I couldn't resist the Mexican jumbo dog wrapped in bacon , buns were toasted so that was cool too, next time I'll see if they have healthier options like no buns , try the Royal barn burger 🍔

Food was great!! I was impressed being my first time there. THEN.... I got up to ask for a fork and was given one but the girl at the window said, "Next time get the fork over there" pointing to an area behind me. Wow! That was rude in my humble opinion. I apologized to her and explained it was my first visit, that I wasn't aware of the routine. She then said, "It's ok, I'm telling you for next time"....Uhhh? What next time? I don't think so!! After a long drive last thing I want to hear or deal with is a snobby cashier or whatever her title is....
Man what a shame, the food was great too! Oh well...

If you are in a hurry, don't bother. This is not a fast food joint. This is a sit down, order your food, and enjoy your friends' company because it's going to be a while. But, when that burger gets to you, it will be one of the best burgers and waffle fries you'll ever have. I don't even like fries! Have patience. The employees are courteous and doing the best they can. Drop by, make sure you have plenty of time.

Good variety of burgers 👍🏻along with other plates. Breaded fried pickles, bacon, and jalapeños with their homemade ranch are to die for! Great place to take family and friends. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat out of town!
