Texas Grub Wagon

I've drove by this place a few times while traveling , so today decuded to check it out on the way back home from my little getaway. I'll say the brisket I had was surprisingly moist and juicy. There BBQ sauce gave a nice touch to the brisket, but the gumbo I ordered was a huge let down. Other then it is a decent spot to stop by and fuel up on some BBQ.

Very good barbecue, there three meat plate was a great preview of their great menum. Friendly service and veteran owned. If your in the area its a great place for lunch or dinner.

I like the concept of the place. However the chow as a different story. Brisket was good however it seemed reheated and dry. The cheese sausage is commercial and is bland and the pork ribs were gamey. The bbq sauce is the bomb which made everything taste better.

The food and service was great. I recommend you stop and try it out

Food was delicious! The three meat plate was cooked to Perfection and not overly season , macaroni on the side that was real cheesy. Also had the fish combo platter that was not over salted, and it went well with the homemade tartar sauce.
We left very satisfied 😌 looking forward to coming back. Also the staff and owner, very friendly. A nice and clean atmosphere.
