Living around the area, I didn't expect much. Seems the smaller the town, the more EVERYONE thinks they can cook brisket and ribs and open a business that fades away in 3 months. But, I was pleasantly surprised! They CAN cook brisket and ribs! This place is going nowhere. Its in the top 3 of “best brisket” for me. Mac n cheese is homemade. Desert is cheap(not full price of a typical “side” like everywhere else). And when you order a Diet Coke, YOU GET A 20oz bottle! NOT the chintzy lil 12oz cans that are not enough for a meal like 99.95% of places use. Only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because 5 is reserved for THE VERY BEST. But this is damn sure “the very best” round Johnson County.

What an excellent find! Moved to the area and tried it out tonight and it did not disappoint. The hype was real! Patio was awesome, family friendly place to hang, and the staff was very nice.

We are from out of town and we were not sure if we would like it, but we cannot wait to go back! The brisket, macaroni and baked potato are amazing, and the staff was awesome! Highly recommend

Damn! The absolute best sliced beef I’ve ever had. See the empty container because I couldn’t stop eating long enough to take a pic. The bark is amazing. The owner greeted us at the door. And to boost we both open carry our firearms and they were happy to have us.

Awesome food and great staff! The ribs literally fall of the bone. Quick and easy place to stop for lunch or even hang out for a little while in the patio. Live music on the weekends. Family friendly and is closed on Sundays. Best of all, it is consistently like this every time I go. Great new go to place!
