I showed them a picture of a pit shaped like a huge revolver, that I took at Woody's Smokehouse, in Centerville, Tx, on the east side of I-45. (There is one on each side!) “This little treasure of a place! Found great local Kolaches! Today my daughter and I decided to venture out! We decided to try something new and found Wooden Spoon on maps, upon arrival we found a local couple sitting down having breakfast and decided to join them, at our own table of course. They talked about how great this little place was and is important to those that don't want to venture far at this time. The breakfast was made to order and came out hot and fresh! My daughter sat and enjoyed our time out near a window facing the road and enjoyed the sun. Not to forget what we ventured out for in the first place, the Kolaches are amazing! Also found out about an amazing lunch menu! We will be back!”

“I am loving this place. It’s starting to be my new hang out place when I just want to get out. I love the atmosphere, it’s quiet (meaning music isn’t obnoxiously loud) there are many TVs including a projector, the food I have not been disappointed. And of course employees so far have been wonderful to include Kyle, Katie Jo, Jay, Claire and Allison. They all tell me these plans this place has and I can’t wait for spring. Also there is great parking and inside and outside seating.”

I had the 7oz sirloin steak and my girlfriend ordered the salmon stir fry and both dishes were cooked to perfection, and drinks were refilled consistently.
