Beard Papa's

Its a good place to check out and try. Do not go on a weekend or busy hours since it is not worth waiting in line for the treat! Its good to try and experiment with the various options they have. Either you are a fan or not really. Would only be back to show someone and let them try it out but overall personal preference not my type of food.

Delicious puffs! Crispy outside, fluffy and soft inside! Kind of expensive.

The Beard Papa's in Katy Asian Town is fantastic! I tasted my very first cream puff at this location on opening day and have returned many times to try all the different flavors. By far, my son continues to love their chocolate eclair! Pictured is a regular puff with green tea custard. Delicious!

By far, my absolute favorite is the Crispy Almond with vanilla custard because has a crispier shell than the cream puff's flaky shell. It is a great balance of sweet and creamy but not too sweet.

In all honestly, I could eat any of them, all day long!!

The atmosphere and the aroma cannot be beat!

I love the massive puffs.
I have been to beard papa in other states and finding this one was a treat. The massive puff if you haven’t had one yet, try one! They are airy, light, with a nice crunch on the outside and tender crumb on the inside.
There are a number of flavors you can choose from, so pick what your heart desires because all the flavored puffs are very light with small amounts of sugar. The cream filling is whipped cream like with a hint of sweetness.
I can have this all day as an alternative to standard desserts and will not have to feel guilty a bit.
