Bearded Monkey Sports Bar & Grill

The bearded monkey pool hall/bar is a pretty nice place. It's clean, the staff are friendly and they have reasonable prices. My friend and I went there today for lunch and we both had more or less the same comments. They have bar food and it's quality bar food. I had the burger pictured and my friend the pizza. Both meals were good but not the best in town. They were far above any fast food but there are better options in town for both the burger and the pizza. What I'm saying is that while I probably wouldn't come here specifically for the food, if I was already here and got hungry, I wouldn't be disappointed with what I had.

Love this place!!! Clean and spacious. Good food. Tables for Pool! Big tv for my sports!! And a bartender name Amy, wow! She is friendly, assertive, knows her peeps! This is home away from home. My new place to hang! Come see!

This is the best burgers in town. The burger is real beef, seasoned to perfection, bacon was on top and bottom!!! The fries were hot, crunch, seasoned and regular size can feed 2 people. I saw this place on Facebook, and decided to give it a try. YOU MUST TRY IT OUT! Also, there are about 8 pool tables.

We decided to try this place last night. The staff is super friendly, the fried mushrooms were amazing. There wasn't much to say about the other food. Wrong burger came out for my husband but they were super apologetic, replaced it with the correct burger and even comped it. Wish they had more comfortable seating for us fat people, but we will probably go back to try other foods. The drink I had was good, couldn't taste the alcohol but you could sure feel it. :)

Our overall experience was good, the burgers were made with fresh ingredients and the service was great but a little slow (lunch). The atmosphere was laid back which was nice. I would recommend Bearded Monkey if you're looking for a place to grab a beer and burger in Forney.
