SmackBird Hot Chicken

I’ve ordered smackbird 4 times in 2 weeks. The food is amazing. The service still needs works. The first time we ordered lite smack and it wasn’t very spicy. So then we ordered the next heat level I think it’s good smack and that was way too spicy so we think they gave us no smack last time. But either it’s hard to tell between lite smack and no smack or employees aren’t putting enough smack on lite smack. Third time I had no issues. The lite smack looked and tasted like I think it should. It looked like it had some heat on it. Fourth time we got half lite smack and half no smack. You could barely tell a difference by looking. And hardly a difference in taste. I think lite smack should be spicier or there should be a heat level between lite and good. But that wasn’t the main issue. The main issue the fourth time was we did not get our sides that we ordered. Luckily we were reimbursed a portion of our order but not sure how they calculated it. I will continue to order because the chicken is amazing but hopefully the more training the better the experience will be. Then it will be 5 star.

Most chicken places that claim they have hot chicken, normally fall in to two categories.
First, the chicken is hot with no flavor. Second one, descent flavor no heat. SMACKBIRD gets it all correct. Great heat and Great flavor.

I’m thoroughly impressed. I lived in Nashville 7 years so I’ve had many hot chicken places. This is the closest to some of the best hot chicken places I’ve had in Nashville. I got the the good smack 12 bites and it was ALOT of food. I thought they’d be tiny but no! The good smack gave me a run for my money though lol! The macaroni was great as well as the banana pudding ( and I’m picky about my banana pudding!) . Aside of the food being good the customer service was great. The guy i spoke with over the phone ( forgot his name) helped with my issue adding a promo code online. I was missing an item and he ran outside to find me in my car before i even realized. Definitely a recommended place.

Not impressed. I got the light chicken bites and honestly it tasted like it had no seasoning at all on them. The bread well the picture speaks for itself. The only thing that was good was the mac and cheese. Also, wish they had more side options. Long story short save your money and go to Lucky’s hot chicken instead (side note Luckys offer free ice cream!)

I ordered the tender meal with goodsmack heat. It was delicious. Some of the best hot chicken I’ve ever had.
