Mabank Cafe

Recently remodeled. Very freindly staff. Food is great! If you are gonna have lunch here, get there a little early to beat the crowd.

For a country food joint, I thought it was good. They didn't have fried mozzarella sticks, but its not my opinion they should, ????????
Fried mushrooms were good (also something I don't associate with country food joint). The smothered hamburger steak was good, fried catfish, and the chicken fried steak was great!!
They have thick toast, but IT'S NOT TEXAS TOAST!!! To me, this is just blasphemy, but if you coat it in gravy, you can still eat it.
Mac and cheese, no good and came out cold.
Staff is down to earth and kind. The atmosphere is kind of non existant, but may have just been the time we were there.
I'd go back to this place if given the chance.

Love this place and the people who own it! Home town restaurant with great food and where everyone is treated like family. The portion size is large. This is a place you would want to make a regular stop when in town. I recommend you giving it a try!

This cafe has some of the best small town ambiance. Friendly, sweet, know most folks that walk thru the door by first names. I recommend everyone stop at least once and enjoying the down homeyness of the Mabank Cafe. From the all you can eat buffet to getting "The Blue Plate" special.

Breakfast was great. Love this place. Waitress was great. Loretta, owner, comes by with hugs for both of us. Asks about family, etc. People are so friendly all around. Good down home place. Will go back soon.
