Cafeteria style fresh home style cooking and excellent food

We have lived in Terrell for almost 2 years, & this was our first time coming into the Kountry Kitchen.
I am so disappointed that we didn't try it sooner! Wonderful “home cooking”, great service, great prices, & a GOOD cup of coffee!! We will be back again & again & again (:

Great homestyle food. Decent price

Exactly what you would expect from a home cooking restaurant. Nothing more nothing less. The staff was friendly and the food was as expected. A solid option that won't disappoint but won't leave you speachless either.

I love any opportunity to visit Kountry Kitchen! The food is consistently tasty and cooked properly. The eggs are just amazing, they must be farm fresh, much better than the chain breakfast places. I love their chicken fried steak and chicken. Veggies are always tasty. Bacon is the real deal, not that thin, flimsy miserly bacon you get at other breakfast places. Servers are great, and the crowd is always nice. Not a place where the loud rowdy crowd hangs out. Great food whether you get their all day breakfast or lunch. My only complaint is they close at 2:00 and aren't open Sunday. Since I work out of town I don't get to eat there very often. If I worked in town, I would eat lunch there three times a week.
