Lovely focus on the heart of food.
They source quality ingredients and keep it healthy from start to finish. They also have a wonderful mission to help those in need with a meal. It's easy for people to share when its cheap, but much more challenging when it's expensive. The BSK generously shares the very best they have- Quite the examples for others.

First let me say I am a burger and fries guy. My wife asked if I would like to join her and a friend for lunch, I agreed. Checked the menu before leaving and wasn’t sure how lunch would turn out. I was impressed with my order.

I was schooled, this was a great meal. I had a salad and soup. The croutons in the salad were exceptional, I’m also a crouton guy. The soup was very hearty and filling, it was seasoned well which gave it great flavor.

I forgot what my mom told me long ago, try it first before judging. I went in knowing I would not be filled or satisfied and came out with a new appreciation for a different menu. I will go back based on my visit. Understand this is a unique menu, go in with an open mind, you may be surprised.

Limited selection menu. Food was fresh. Atmosphere is casual. Nothing that warrants the pricey meal. Glad they were open on a Monday unlike many of Boerne's sit down eateries. I like that we were treated to a taste test of the soups for the day. Service was friendly.

Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing atmosphere. I don't know what else to say! We aren't local, but if we were, I would take advantage of this incredible dining experience frequently. Loved it! Thanks for serving us!

Consider increasing the shrimp with grits portion especially at that price. The pork loin had only a few broccoli spears with it.
