This place is amazing! It was recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint at all. I had the Don, and my wife had the chicken alfredo. Both dishes were amazing. The appetizer was the swamp fries, and they were delicious. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys great food. A must stop and taste place.
We stopped in here on a recent Kerrville visit because of the great reviews and it really lived up to the hype!
We enjoyed the light jazz music and TV playing college football. Our server, Meg was adorable and shared the number of daily specials.
We had the crab cakes that were fat with crab and enough to share as an appetizer. The crawfish étouffée was delicious as was the chicken and sausage gumbo. The portions were huge but Meg assured us that they are set up for go boxes.
Yummy food - give them a try!
I am from Louisiana and have tried to find shrimp and catfish that live up to my expectations. I finally found it! The breading on both was perfect! The Wahoo sauce has become my new favorite dipping sauce for shrimp. The catfish was flaky, delicious and the dipping sauce was amazing! I chose the creole potato salad and green beans and both were a great choice. There was plenty of food, enough that I brought half of it home for dinner. The food is made to order so be patient, it’s well worth the wait. I can’t wait to go back and try some other items on the menu!😋 I live in another neighboring town but plan to make the trip just to eat at Wahoo’s. Service was also great!
We went here for my dad's birthday and it did not disappoint!!! I had the red fish pontchartrain and it was honestly a 10/10. The wine sauce was so decadent and there was lump crab and shrimp on top. We had crab-cakes for an appetizer and goodness those were amazing too. We wanted seafood next to where my dad lives so we tried this place out on a whim, not expecting anything special but WOW the staff and food was unbelievable. I have been nonstop talking about this place for almost a week. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Full disclosure, I haven't tried their etoufee yet, so this review is a first impression lol. The atmosphere was a pleasant surprise, and the service was phenomenal!
This a place you go to eat damn good made from scratch food, so go when you have the ability to relax and take your time. Even though it was a long wait for our delicious food, the staff were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of.
Definitely will be coming here again for a nice upper scale date night
