Just picked up my favorite catfish/shrimp combo dinner - as always, cooked perfectly and overflowing it's container! They're always happy to provide extra sauces too Yummy for my tummy. ????????????

Nice family business , reasonably priced with generous portions . We stop in every Friday .

Excellent chicken fry! No knife needed. So very tender and wonderful gravy.

Coming through town between Abilene and Austin, I got hungry and went to Google to see what was recommended. Noted as the "best chicken fried steak sandwich", and a preference for local fare, I had to give it a try. I had the onion rings too. Not a bad sandwich... Not the best I've ever had, but not the worst either. There was a bit of gristle, which is never fun, but it stayed in the breading and definitely tasted house made. I sure did like their onion rings. They didn't slide out their breading like some do, and didn't flake all over the place like others may. If I come back through and get the hungers again, I may try the tasty looking fish sandwich. With onion rings, for sure.

The catfish dinner is exceptional here and very inexpensive. It is locally owened. The hamburgers are really good . And usually pretty car hops.
