    New energetic owners who are making this place even better! Home style scratch made specials every day. Now open until 8pm on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Open till 2 on Wednesday and Thursday. Closed Sunday.

    We stopped and had lunch here on our way through. It was an excellent decision. I had the chicken fried chicken, w mashed potatoes and beans. The food was great. The beans tasted like Mom had put a pot of beans on early and cooked them slow all day. The Rocking K is a great example of a good hometown restaurant, with food like you would expect from grandma's house. Mmm! Always enjoy finding a gem like this. I'm sure we'll be back next time we're through.

    The shrimp plate was yummy and hot. I enjoyed looking around at the rustic pictures in this restaurant. The waitstaff was not the friendliest but it was satisfactory service.
