The Retreat At Artesian Lakes

We rented the Trinity cabin it was very pretty property, the alligators were friendly but there is a $500 fine to feed the Gators
I would have thought that if this cabin has been booked for a month straight there would not have been so many spiderwebs.
The fridge was broken ie door was sagging therefore door stays open and food goes bad.
Two of the four bikes had flats, and they were in poor condition. The handles had exposed metal taped up seats
The canoe had part of the spine missing it felt like it was going to crack but it worked well for us at that moment, but on the next trip we might have been Gator food.
The boats and the bikes were the main reason why we paid the extra money for that cabin, so hopefully this message will be the wake up call for the owners to to upgrade their accessories. The place was good, we had a great time but spending $1050 for the 2 nights seems a bit much with those deficiencies. There was more I didn't mention because I don't want to sound like a just want to complain. Overall just fix the problems and the place will be a dream.

Had the pleasure of going there to meet a client for work and was quite surprised by this hidden gem. There is plenty of water to peruse and it looks clean/clear with plenty of fish. Understand you can rent cabins or camp...as well as purchase property.

From the moment you drive onto the property you can tell how much care is put into this place. Very well maintained all around. Can't wait to come back.

We had a great, peaceful weekend away from the business of our lives. The log cabin was beautifully equipped and wonderfully secluded. The clear water, tree surrounded lake, immediately beneath our porch was so relaxing. The flower garden was beautiful.
We enjoyed watching the gators and turtles. All the meals were excellent and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. Thank you for a great escape.

We loved our stay at Artesian Lakes! Our cabin was perfect. From our deck we enjoyed seeing all kinds of wildlife including alligators, giant bull frogs and raccoons. We had a blast fishing at our cabin and swimming at the pool and swim lake! If you are there on a Saturday, make sure to get breakfast at the Hilltop Restaurant. It was AMAZING! The staff and guests were all friendly. It was a nice, relaxing family getaway and we can't wait to go back!
