The Service here was excellent, the food was delicious! My friend and I ordered the 3 piece catfish fillet dish with fries and coleslaw. Very large catfish fillet portions(the size of an adult hand) and the meal was only $7.99!!

Good prices, good food, friendly staff. If I'm in the area again, I would go back!

It wasn't noisy and they weren't blasting music. So it's a nice atmosphere for visiting. The food was pretty good, but not quite homemade quality. The catfish was very tender! The hush puppies were cooked just right, but weren't all that flavorful. The fries were excellent, but a little sparse considering the cost ($11-20 per person). The chicken fried steak was a bit on the grisly side and the country gravy had very little to no milk, but the breading on it was really tasty and the mashed potatoes were good. The salads are very fresh, but super simple (just lettuce, tomato, and a little cheese if you want it) and pretty small. The drinks come in huge cups, so you don't have to constantly ask for refills.

The first few times I ate here the food was all very good, but the last time I went I could hardly eat. I ordered the lobster and steak. The steak they were both way too salty and the vegetables were just very mushy. Our waitress also seemed to be totally out of it (I don't want to say it was drugs, but it was either that or she was extremely tired). We will give it a try again I am sure. But hoping for a better experience. When it is good you can't beat it especially at the price.
