My goodness. A bit of heaven on a tray! First time at Cooper's and it was tremendous. Well seasoned, slow cooked, and great sauce. Every BBQ-goers favorite combo. Lastly, in the words of (Texas Country Artist) the Josh Abbott Band, " If you haven't....eaten Cooper's down in Llano then you ain't met my Texas yet."
Cooper's is great BBQ. You pick you meat from the pit. The brisket is great and The pork ribs are tender. I have had the pork chop, I couldn't finish it because it was so large. The staff is friendly. They keep the place very clean. Free beans with your meal. It is worth the drive to Llano .
My family loves it here! We love going to different places to get BBQ and this is definitely one of our favorites, we'll most likely be going here more often. The brisket, ribs, beans, and peach cobbler all tasted so good- I honestly wished that I could eat more of it. The atmosphere inside is enjoyable, and from the outside it looks pretty cool. The staff is extremely nice- my little brother went to get water and one of the staff helped him fill the glass up and everyone is extremely helpful. The (women's) restroom is clean, but one of the stalls don't seem to have a hook/lock or maybe I just didn't notice. Overall the experience was great, so glad we went here!
I ate the most delicious need ribs I've ever had in my life, but they came at a pretty penny considering the weight of bone was more than the meat. The other meat choices were better priced. I will come again. The Apple cobbler tested like good home cooking. There are free beans and sandwich dressings.
A Texas classic that’s always delicious. Worth the drive. A little pricey so plan for that before you go. Feeding a family of four can be $50 or more. Try the brisket, sausage, chicken, turkey, potato salad, coleslaw, beans and definitely the peach cobbler. On a busy weekend the serving line can go all the way down the building which can be a 30 minute wait. Inside it’s picnic tables and casual dining beside your fellow Texans. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Y’all scoot over to Llano as soon as you can and get some of the best BBQ in Texas!
